Social Media Strategist
Social Justice and advocating for people of color have been at the forefront of my life since I was a child, growing up in Oakland, CA.
More now than ever, it is important to stress the relevance of voting rights and movements such as black lives matter. Since I’ve moved to Los Angeles, in an effort to put words to action, I’ve branded hashtags such as #SchoolsNotPrisons, #RockTheVote, #RiseUpAsOne, #PeoplePower, and #Athletes4Impact.
These various channels have helped push one of my primary agendas by shining a light on the importance of people of color voting every election, which actually led to Donald Trump stealing a graphic for the 2018 midterm registration deadlines. Yes! The “President”.
While social justice is an important part of my social media advocacy, my career is not limited to just that area. I’ve spent time working with a number of media companies, artists, athletes, festivals and events under many umbrellas. My skills include but are not limited to social media, strategy planning, content development, brand strategy, and execution.
I have a deep love for culture, hip hop music, traveling the world laughing which I share via social media.
